It allows you select a product while shopping and search for it on your iPhone app by product name, category, or UPC. In addition to providing information on the gluten free status of a product it also will give you the date that the information was confirmed and the ability to call the product manufacturer at the touch of a button.
Currently, glutenScan has over 30,000 products and more than 10,000 manufacturers in its database and 500 products are added or updated each week.
And if the product you are looking for is not gluten free or not available at the store, it will provide you with a list of gluten free alternatives!
glutenScan by Zeer is available to purchase at the iPhone App store (www.itunes.com/appstore) via a subscription basis. The initial download is $1.99 for 30 days or you can sign up for 90 days at $3.99.

Although this sounds great, I already pay for the internet service monthly and now they want me to pay for this on a monthly basis?? This amounts to $60+ for internet and about $15 annually for iPhone. It adds up to a lot don't you think??
